A group of women in Los Angeles decide to go on a radical course to save their marriages.  For six weeks they will practise the principle of The Surrendered Wife and leave the control they wield at work at the front door of their relationships. The results, as they follow guru Laura Doyle's model for matrimony, are both funny and moving.
